Students were supported in improving their capacity to engage diverse groups through dialogue. Co-facilitated an opportunity for students to identify the individual, emotional, and socio-cultural factors affecting their ability to form productive personal, academic and professional relationships across social differences.
Adjunct Faculty in Educational Services and Leadership, Counseling in Ed. Settings, Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ, USA | 2014-2016
Designed and taught an advanced workshop on Mentoring Underrepresented Students and a two-semester Internship in Educational Settings course to graduate students intended to invite students to consider how social identities as situated within systems of inequality matter to the work of counseling. Students were supported in gaining practical "hands-on" experiences in settings where counseling/support services are offered. Students were offered the opportunity to relate theoretical frameworks to settings outside of the university classroom.
